Glow Ride Guildford – 22 October 2025

7km slow ride around the town and a few hills as one big group. Dress warmly, light up yourself and your bike so we can glow!

Huge disappointment as council decides not to go ahead with London road scheme

GBUG are incredibly disappointment that Surrey County Council voted not to go ahead with stage 1 of the London Road Active Travel Scheme. GBUG spoke at the council decision meeting, and have supported the scheme throughout. The scheme would have increased safety for all pedestrians and cyclists along this route.

Existing cycling provision along London road is just a painted dotted white line making a narrow cycle lane. Some cars are driving in the cycle lane.
